 Screenlets Version?

 by ThrowRocksAtMe1 on: Aug 12 2007

Score 50%

Looks great, but how do I install version 0.0.9?

When I run a screenletsd command from the terminal, it says my version is 0.0.1

I found my way to a link to the compiz forums, but it said the forums were down at the moment.

Got a link to (preferably) a set of debs?
I installed from the Feisty repository, but I think its down.. so I can't update

Thanks!

Hey there,
I'm not able to install the screenlet. When I try to do so, by clickin on add desklet I get a warning saying that there were no installation files on the package.
What is the problem? I'm new to gdesklets, and desktop modding in general.
Thanks

 Feature Request

by NTolerance on: Nov 27 2007

Can you add a button to the screenlet that will launch the default image viewer and display the image currently loaded in the screenlet? This would be an easy way to add an "enlarge" capability along with whatever features the default image viewer would provide, such as "set as background" and all that good stuff.

0.7 is great, thanks for implementing my feature request. The only other major improvement could be to attempt to maintain the aspect ratio of all images. Images that are vertically oriented get squished a good deal with the current method. Anything beyond that would be small GUI tweaks like double-clicking on the image to bring up the image viewer and maybe adding a "back" button. Thanks again!
