Not sure if this has been fixed already or is even effecting other people, but the screenlet, when setting the height apparently sometimes saves it the config file as a float instead of a int, and that seems to keep the screenlet from starting.

This is a signature... it is mine.

 Cant save window settings

Window settings are forgotten every time I restart folderview. (I mean lock, sticky, widget, keep above, keep below).

I'm using Scr1.2 and FV0.5.8.

screenlet worked after installing transset. Before that did nothing (gnome without compiz).

As already someone said before me:

The whole purpose of having a Folderview applet on the desktop, is, that it takes less space, because its content can be scrolled.

In this form it's just a fancy transparent background for your desktop icons, taking even more space than normally, because of the header.

Shorter said: It needs a scrollbar.

Another thing: the "default" theme is empty. Only author information. We do not know how to make another style, because we do not see any variables.

Despite the lack of these 2 functions it's still a great screenlet, because it keeps the icons you want to see on your desktop, aligned.

drop support - move vs. copy?

Thank-you! for this. It basically completes my transition from XP to Ubuntu! (was using Stardock Fences)

Is there a way to make the drag/drop functionality more flexible? Maybe ctrl+drop or right-click+drop to get a menu to allow MOVE (vs copy what it seems to be doing now) and maybe even an option to create a link instead?

another vote for real drag+drop
as I see now there is only something like copy realized.
So a 'move' pressing e.g. shift would be great.
Also the context menu with a 'delete this file' - option would be nice.
