Request for rutorrent tutorial with owncloud 4.5

Question:I tried many times to add rutorrent to my owncloud without success. Someone who knows how to do could he explain the procedure ?

I think I badly configure rtorrent which is required in order to use rutorrent. Moreover, the help in the install file is too confused for me.

Answer:Installation rtorrent/rutorrent:

Pour que le plugin "rutorrent" intégré à owncloud fonctionne vous devez installer "rtorrent" c'est un client torrent en ligne de commande.

sudo apt-get install rtorrent

une fois installé tapez:


rtorrent devrait se lancer sans problème, faites "ctrl + Q" pour quitter rtorrent.

Une fois "rtorrent" installé nous allons créer les répertoires indispensables à son bon fonctionnement

sudo mkdir /home/votre_user/Downloads
sudo mkdir /home/votre_user/session

Ensuite le fichier de configuration pour rtorrent:

sudo nano /home/votre_user/.rtorrent.rc

Et copier coller ce qui suit:

# This is an example resource file for rTorrent. Copy to
# ~/.rtorrent.rc and enable/modify the options as needed. Remember to
# uncomment the options you wish to enable.

# Maximum and minimum number of peers to connect to per torrent.

Adapter a votre configuration pour les dossiers etc...

Configuration rtorrent/rutorrent:

Vérification de l'adresse local:
nano /etc/hosts

Recopier l'adresse en face de localhost.

Ensuite nous allons indiquer l'adresse scgi à apache pour la liaison entre rtorrent et rutorrent :
cd /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/

éditer votre fichier conf :
sudo nano votre_fichier_conf

Ajouter à la fin (avant VirtualHost ) : SCGIMount /RPC1
