better use: sudo shutdown -h +45
-> +45 means in 45 minutes is going to shutdown(halved)

For those whom terminal is a really strange thing, use that :)

I like to need no sudo else su or gksu to shutdown my machine. That is why i create sleeptimer. Set only the minutes in the entry line, and close your eyes...

bye

Leiche can askyou why no sudo ?

Sometimes when i type in terminal:
sudo reboot
sudo shutdown....
it stays with a message box telling me the software that do not allow the computer to perform a sutdown, and it stays there. Usually pidgin. Does this software deals with this glitch ?

Well done, sleeptimer will only shutdown your machine, when you will only watching a movie, or listen your music.

I need it by transcoding with some apps, like mencoder. Now transcoding needs times, and i don't like to wait until i can shutdown my notebook, here is sleeptimer a good applications. Okay I must count may be a little, but that's no problem or?

And sorry for my bad english ;)
