 Google Gadgets?

Hey Whise,
Awesome job with Screenlets! It really adds some cool eyecandy to make the Mac user take note.

One problem I am having is trying to get Google Gadgets converted and running on my desktop. I watched the youtube video clip a bunch of times and I have yet to get one to work. Can you (or someone) reply with a written set of instructions?

When you grab the code for the Gadget it contains the javascript: Example: <script>www.blahblah.com/abunchofstuffxxx22903%##$</script>

When I plug this into screenlets, I always get a "successfully converted" popup. But when I try to run the Gadget, no workie... As with most problems (for me at least) in Linux, it always comes down to something really basic that I missed. If you could write a short procedure, I'll probably pick up something I missed. Again, thank you for the help, thank you for developing a really cool product!

I have the same problem. Installed screenlets from PPA on gutsy, and this is the result I get when I try to run a google gadget converted by the screenlet manager:

Launching Screenlet from: /home/####/.screenlets/Todo/TodoScreenlet.py
Logging output goes to: $HOME/.config/Screenlets/TodoScreenlet.log
REGISTER screenlet: TodoScreenlet
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

$HOME/.config/Screenlets/TodoScreenlet.log is empty.

These are great..I mainly just use the inet radio and Itv screenlets..I would like to have an option to exit the program when its running in the panel..Theres an option to turn off the icon but its still running in the back ground?..would just be nice to close it when I need to free up some ram.
