The basic navigation of the Gnome desktop was obtained through the following integration: conceptual fundamentación of voice recognition, recognition and decoding of voice, application of principles of software engineering and implementation under frameworks of free software.

In order to carry out this integration and therefore the development of this project, five focused phases were approached to be able the primary target, which consists of offering an interface human/machine friendly and flexible of communication for the disable people.

In first stage is the conceptual fundamentación of this project for the stage of voice recognition, which it allows to visualize the structure of a system of voice recognition and the techniques that are used for their construction, information that is contained in the marks conceptual and referential of this document.

The second phase focuses in the study and appropriation of the API of voice recognition Sphinx-II using reingeniería of software to include/understand the data and the operation of the same one; all the documentation of the profits reached in this phase is in the annexed A.

The integration of the results of reingeniería of software and the application of principles of ingenieria of software, allowed to implement the third phase that is the analysis and design of GERvoice, results that are reflected in annexed B and C.

The fourth phase is the implementation of GERvoice, which includes/understands the codification of the made design, for which the standards of codification GNU were followed.

Finally, in the fifth phase, the documentation of software GERvoice was made.

The construction of tools of accessibility under free software and principles of software engineering allow an integration of the discapacitadas people to the society of the knowledge.
