Con este script podrás poner tus vídeos o screensaver como fondo de escritorio de manera fácil, solo con un solo click derecho SOBRE TU VIDEO O SCREENSAVER, además de poder iniciar tu vídeo automáticamente cuando inicies sesión.

los screensavers se encuentran en esta carpeta: /usr/lib/xscreensaver

Modo de uso:

I.- Dar click derecho sobre un video o screensaver, e ir script --> Cambiar Escritorio Animado.

II.- al seleccionar "Cambiar Escritorio Animado" sobre un espacio vacío tienes varias opciones:

- Terminar reproducción
- Volver al video anterior
- Opacidad
- Sonido

Requisitos(NUEVO):

MPLAYER, UNRAR Y ZENITY

Instalación:

1.-Una vez descargado el archivo .rar, descomprimimos el archivo y en la carpeta "shantz-xwinwrap" damos doble click seleccionamos la carpeta "i386" para 32 bits y "x86_64" para 64 bits.

--Para Debian y derivados (Ubuntu, Linux Mint, etc.):
Solamente seleccionamos el paquete correspondiente .deb

--Para fedora(no probado en otras distros):
Necesitamos una dependecia extra "Beesu", que la tendrán que instalar ustedes.
Y copiar el archivo "xwinwrap" a la carpeta "/usr/bin"

2.-Selecionar carpeta "Debian" para debian y derivados o la carpeta "Fedora"
y el idioma, y seleccionar "EscritorioAnimado.Instalador" para instalar el script

¿Como inciar automaticamente?

Al instalar el script nos creara:

1.-Un archivo, la ruta es ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts/Cambiar Escritorio Animado

2.- Nos creara una carpeta que al principio no contendra nada pero una ves que seleccionamos nuestro video preferido contendra un archivo llamado "EscritorioAnimadoInicio", la ruta es ~/.EscritorioAnimado/EscritorioAnimadoInicio, es este el archivo que pondremos en las Aplicaciones al inicio, para esto nos vamos al menu -->Aplicaciones al inicio y le damos en añadir ponemos el nombre que queramos y en la orden ponemos la ruta y el nombre del archivo "EscritorioAnimadoInicio", y con eso ya no tendremos que modificar nadamas este archivo guardara el ultimo video seleccionado antes de apagar la computadora y asi cuando vuelvas a iniciar sesión tu video se ejecutara

Desinstalación:

Ejecutar el archivo "EscritorioAnimado.Desinstalar"
