Description:

Lately I switched from XMMS to Audacious. I already had a script for XMMS to Enqueue Audio-Files in XMMS out of Nautilus. So I adapted this one to Audacious.

Just unpack the file into ~/.gnome2/nautilus-scripts

Have Fun with it!!! ;-)

Greetz

Changelog:

fix: new version after some problems with enqueuing more than one file at once. Thanx to "qbit"

 Doesn't enqueue many

I tried to enqueue more than one file and it failed, so I had to change the script for this one:

FILES="${NAUTILUS_SCRIPT_SELECTED_FILE_PATHS}"

echo "${FILES}" | while read FILE; do
if [ -n "${FILE}" ]; then
audacious --enqueue "${FILE}"
fi;
done

Hm... When I tried - I can enqueue more than one file - I am probably doing something wrong? =)

To all: you can add "audacious -p" without quotes to end of this script to enqueue
and listen your files.

Sorry for my bad english

Hmmm, I do not have any problems with enqueuing more than one track at the same time. Just checked this and it seems to run fine with the original script.

OK, checked it again and you were right. There actually was a problem with the script.
When more than one file was selected then the second would be shown in the Playlist but you can't start it. With you're alterations the script works great. So thanks for that.
I'll upload the new version.

Nice job!

But is there a way to enqueue files in an already open window of audacious?
When I enqueue, it starts a second instance of audacious.

Thanks!

Josh
